We are happy to announce that College Bus Tours will be available
during our 2010 Summer Tournaments. Colpitts Travel will provide College visits to
Boston College & Boston University or Northeastern University or Harvard University if you like. The tour will also include a lunch voucher, a Boston Duck Tour of 1hr 20mins.,
as well as time to walk around the famous Faneuil Hall Market Place. Teams
will be picked up at their hotel by Coach Bus and brought back to their hotel after the tour. Teams tournament schedules will be adjusted if you go on a team tour.

"Paul Stewart To Assign Chowder Cup Tournaments"
Paul Stewart, who last year was named ECAC Hockey Men's League Supervisor of Officials, has agreed to assign all of the NEPAHL's 2010 Chowder Cup Tournaments here in Boston. Paul's resume includes 17 years as an NHL Referee as well as the distinction of being the first American Born Referee to officiate 1,000 NHL games in his career before retiring in 2003. Upon retiring, Paul worked as a Supervisor/Coach for young officials in the NHL Officials Development Program observing over 200 NHL/ AHL contests. We welcome Paul.

Arlanda Wings (Sweden) Enter Pre-Draft Showcase!!
Coach Lou Gravel, who resides in British Columbia, has announced that besides his Team Canada West entries, he will also coordinate and manage the Arlanda Wings from the Swedish Elite League as they participate in the 2010 Pre-Draft Showcase here in Boston this coming May. Lou intends to showcase these Swedish players , who are not only US College eligible, but also in front of the many NHL Scouts expected to be in attendance during the Tournament.

Canadian Teams Enter Pre-Draft Showcase
Six new Canadian teams and their coaches are: Black Aces (Louie Gialedakis), Deseronto Storm (Andrew Clark), Proforce Hockey/Orangeville (Gaspare Santaguida), Trenton Golden Hawks (Tim Clayden),  the EHC Don Mills Flyers (Tony Visca), and the Ontario Shamrocks (John Walters). They presently join returnees Team Canada West (Lou Gravel) and the Ontario Tornado (Tony Fontana).

Cavallini Brothers To Coach in Pre-Draft Showcase
Former St. Louis Blues (NHL) players, Gino and Paul Cavllini, have announced that they will coach the St. Louis Selects in the 2010 International Pre-Draft Showcase here in Boston this coming May.

Olympic Hockey Team

Notable Teams Enter 2010 Tournaments:
Allan Power will be returning with his Atlantic Canadians Team to the Jr. A Elite Division of the 2010 Senior Chowder Cup. This will be Allan's 24th year in the prestigious tournament. Joining Allan will be long time entrant, Phil Barber, with his Can Am Team, Louie Gialedakis  and his Black Aces, Tim Clayden and the Trenton Golden Hawks, Bob Thornton with his Elite Teams, and Bob Torney with his strong Vermont Paulies.


 In the 1994 Division of the Junior Chowder Cup, Lou Gravel will be returning with his Bladetape Canada West team from British Columbia, Jason Fortier will have his Canadian Future Pros, Peter Goulet has entered his Maplesoft Hawks, and Grant Furlane will be back with another strong Ontario Lightning Team.

Peter Ward, Beantown Bullies, Stever Seeger, CT. Yankees, Paul Losik, Hockey Essentials, and George Haviland, NJ Jr. Titans, have early entries in the '96 Division of the Mini-Chowder Cup.


Frank Pietrangelo has announced that the Vipers Selects, Defending 2009 Champs, will be back to defend their title in the Double AA Division of the Women's Chowder Cup. Frank will be hard pressed by early entries: Olympian Catlin Cahow and her Team Celine squad, Bill Driscoll with NAHA, Mark Hurle with the Mid Jersey Selects, Tom Press with the Minnesota Ice Cats, Bill Horan, Assabet Valley, and John Hindle with his always formidable Belle Tire Team. 

 

Coach Peter Ward, of the Beantown Bullies, has announced that players from his 2008 & 2009 Pre-Draft and Chowder Cup Teams have made their college choices. Chris Wagner (Colgate), Sean Logue (St. Lawrence), Nolan Descoteaux (RIT), Brad Barone (BC), Connor Brickley (Vermont), Kyle Thomas (Norwich), Chris Kreider (BC), Antoine Laganiere (Yale), Mike Heffron (UMass Lowell), Dan Rowland (Salem State). Seven players from his Bullies Program have been ranked by NHL Central Scouting for the 2010 NHL Entry Draft: Connor Brickley-USHL, Clay Witt-USHL, Brendan Rempel-Harvard, Chris Wagner, EJHL, Elliot Bostrom-Ct. Prep, Garnet Hathaway-MA Prep, & Brandon McNally- MA Prep).

Coach Caleb Wyse of North Coast Hockey Development has announced that Shayne Stockton, who played on his Pre-Draft Team, will be entering Holy Cross.
Brock Higgs, who played on Caleb's Chowder Cup Team, has accepted an invitation to play at RPI.

Coach Justin Stanlick, of Wildcats Elite, has announced that Eric Robinson, who played on his 2009 Pre-Draft team & 2008/9 Chowder Cup teams, has recently committed to Dartmouth College in the ECACHL.
