New Format for Women's Chowder Cup
50% of all teams advance to Playoff Rounds!!
Women’s Chowder Cup Directors, Mike O’Connell Sr., along with Assistant Director, Mike O’Connell Jr., are proud to announce that a NEW FORMAT has been added to both the Single A and Double AA Divisions of the 2012 Women’s Chowder Cup.
Beginning this year, 50% of the tournament teams will advance to the Playoff Rounds on Sunday. This will mean that both the winner of each four team bracket will advance as well as the second place finisher in each bracket. As a result, 50% of the teams will play at least four(4) games in the tournament with teams advancing during the playoff rounds playing as many as five(5) or six(6) games in order to be crowned Champions of their respective Divisions.
We are also happy to announce that there will be NO additional Team Fee charges for these added games.
